This is the second time the character of Roberto DeCosta/Sunspot ethnic background of a dark skinned Brazilian is changed to white (Xmen:Days of future past)secondly Sunspot powers does not make him a human torch.He absorbs sunlight which gives him super strength, the longer he is out of sunlight his power diminishes, no flame or heat is involved. His manifestation of a fully charged Sunspot gives a black aura about his body that looks like bubbles not fire,as he matures he learns to fly and project energy that doesn't burn.

@Heriberto Trevino it's season four. If you watch it, it will make sense why both of the actresses were cast. Legacies season one references some of those coincidences as well. Both are currently on netflix.

As someone who actually liked Dark Phoenix i can confirmed that this is actually way better and surprisingly good compared to that film. Note:I watched it at my local theather and i enjoyed it :)
